I am a lifelong FM resident, an FM graduate (Class of 1986), a business owner, an attorney and most importantly, a parent of two FM students.

My wife, Jenee Runkle Seidberg, is also an FM graduate (Class of 1991).  Jenee and I collectively attended all but one of the six FM schools.  We have two children in school at FM: Meghan, a Senior at the high school; and Ashley, an eighth grader at Eagle Hill.

I believe that my professional and business background and training, combined with my lifelong involvement and familiarity with the FM School District, has provided me with a skill set that brings valuable perspective and knowledge to the school board.

Professional Experience:

• I am the President and co-founder of an international company that provides critical emergency technology and communication tools to fire departments, EMS agencies, police departments, and other first responder entities in more than 8,500 municipalities across North America.  I have significant experience in hiring and managing people and large projects, developing and implementing long-range strategic plans, and maintaining a fiscally prudent budget.  

• I founded my own law firm that I have operated for the past 18 years.

In the Community:

• I support our students and teachers as a Trustee of the FM Education Foundation, where I have served on the Executive Committee, chaired the Finance and Legal Committee, and co-chaired the Development Committee.  The FM Education Foundation provides funding for teacher-driven innovation in our classrooms for projects that are beyond the district's current curriculum and budget.  During my time on the Board of the FM Education Foundation, we have proudly awarded over $20,000 in grants to teachers in all six of our schools.

• I was an FM youth soccer coach in the FM rec soccer program for 14 seasons, and since then have had the privilege to continue to coach a select group of players who have become like family to me.

• I co-chaired the Cavalry Club Swim Program, and oversee the CNY Summer country club swim program.

• I served as a member of the FM Facilities Task Force that preceded the Wellwood Middle School construction project..

• I serve on multiple planning committees of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

• I worked directly with Maureen McCrystal, Principal of Eagle Hill Middle School, and members of the Manlius Fire Department to formulate and implement the first ever middle-school based program at FM focused on opioid risks and addiction.  That program, launched in June 2017 with considerable help from school counseling and nursing staff and local EMS providers, has now been expanded to both of the FM middle schools.
